361 University Avenue Courthouse

Supreme Court of Justice courthouse in downtown Toronto. BETA completed structural upgrades, underground parking garage upgrades, cast in place concrete work, pedestrian bridge rehabilitation, a new snow and ice melting system, and more architectural, mechanical, and electrical upgrades. BETA completed full commissioning of the project.

Mississauga Celebration Square

Development of Mississauga’s Celebration Square, the 27000 square metre town square which hosts many of the City of Mississauga’s festivals year round. The aquatic and ice entertainment features include the completion of a reflective pool, perimeter fountain, splash pad, and ice rink.

Toronto City Hall Peace Garden: Sir Winston Churchill Memorial and Eternal Flame

Revitalization of Toronto City Hall’s Peace Garden, reflecting pool, and Eternal Flame monument. The Peace Garden is symbolic of Toronto’s aspirations for world peace.

University Avenue Fountain

Construction of a large fountain system on University Avenue’s central island at the foot of the South African monument north of Queen Street. The 3 fountains, reflecting pool, and integrated lighting system illuminate one of Toronto’s most famed boulevards.

Mel Lastman Square Reflecting Pool

Reflecting pool in the centre of Mel Lastman Square, at the heart of North York’s Civic Centre, the congregation hub which hosts many of the city’s outdoor festivals and events. The reflecting pool converts into a major skating rink in the winter.

Guelph Market Square

Revitalization of downtown Guelph’s Market Square, including an 8500 square foot splash pad, along with sculptural water jets, and an LED lighting and sound system. In the winter, the splash pad becomes an ice rink. The square acts as a congregation space for the community and host to its festivals.

Petticoat Creek Conservation Park

Complete construction of one of the largest aquatic entertainment facilities in Ontario, including a 750 person beach entry swimming pool, 3200 square metre wading pool, and an interactive splash pad with water features.

Wallace Emerson Community Centre

State of the art 25m indoor 6 lane swimming pool and therapy pool. Work was done on mechanical, electrical, infrastructure, filtration systems, dehumidification systems, water chemistry controls, architectural finishing, and commissioning work.
