At the foot of the South African War Memorial monument and at the central island of Toronto’s University Avenue intersecting Queen Street, the three major fountains, reflecting pool, and lighting systems bring life to the busy downtown boulevard. 

BETA completed the new build up, electrical and mechanical infrastructure of the reflecting pool basin, as well as removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and control systems beneath the pool basin slab above the TTC subway line (in a working depth of approximately 36 inches). Further, BETA provided a full new filtration system and restored granite and stone at the pool base level, as well as the complete new fountain features and LED lighting system. 

BETA completed full construction and commissioning of the fountain system as a one-entity turnkey operation.
